A hand shake can tell someone a lot they say. But it might not just be the firmness or lightness of grip that makes people form their decisions. Some people will also pay keen attention to the hands themselves too.

You could have the healthiest nails in the world, but if they are jagged and chewed you are going to give off the impression of someone wracked with worry or anger. Certain nail traits can show that you have anything from warts to eczema and psoriasis, or that you simply do not look after yourself.

Nails should be strong and smooth. If they are discoloured, pitted or jagged they can easily betray you. However, you don’t have to spend hours and hours on nail care for them to look right. In fact just a few minutes every day is often enough. Incorporating your nails into your daily routine should be easy and next time you are using those skin care products, make sure you have the right products on hand (no pun intended) to get those nails looking as healthy as the rest of you.

You may just find that doing so says a whole lot more about you than you might ever have imagined.
